In a sentence: This is a course that includes a full practical introduction to the what, why & how of meditation practice, and how to build your own experiential meditation practice systematically & effectively.
Overview: Life is an adventure in the experience of being conscious. To meditate and to be a meditator is to engage in this experience full-bloodedly, with the intention to get the very most out of the opportunity that we have been given, both in terms of enjoyment, and in terms of our potential to achieve worthwhile goals that are congruent with our inner values. This is a dynamic meditation course that covers
- What meditation is, and how we can understand it clearly
- Why we should feel motivate to practice it, and create our own meditation practice that suits our own needs and aspirations
- How to practice it safely and effectively to give us the best experience, both in formal meditation and in our daily lives
Each class covers a different aspect of the meditation adventure, and includes a mediation technique with which helps us to experience this part of the journey for ourself
The course includes recordings of the sessions and further reading and articles related to each topic.
