Kundalini Yoga is a form of yoga that involves breathing exercises, meditation, mantras and kriyas(series of poses). Another name for this practice is also called ‘yoga of awarenesss’.
Most beginners would find the classes odd as it is not like any yoga classes out there. Please come with an open and inquiring mind. Let your feelings guide you. Classes are for anyone and everyone. Just come along in comfortable clothing. Mantras used in the session are more of a way for us to connect with the vibrational states within ourselves and not for any religious reasons. If you are uncomfortable with chanting, you do not need to chant them.
These techniques used helps to cultivate inner peace and awareness, as well as activating the kundalini energy from the base of the spine. Everyone will experience the energies differently.
There would also be a gong bath at the end of the session.

Johnson is a Kundalini Yoga teacher and a Reiki level 3 Practitioner. He hold regular Kundalini Yoga classes at One Heart every Sunday morning. His approach to teaching is to empower and impart his knowledge to all his students without any barriers and in a safe and grounded manner. One can always find healing and calmness in his presence.
