Simon is an Usui Reiki Teacher trained under Elaine Grundy of The Reiki Centre Singapore. He is also the founder of One Heart Singapore.
Simon began his Reiki journey in October 2013. He started turning to meditation and yoga in 2007, in an effort to seek out alternative therapies to persisting depressive states, resulting in multiple life crisis. Positive improvements led to a continuous research of alternative healing possibilities. An article about the benefits of Reiki started his search for Reiki practitioners in Singapore, and enrolment into his first Reiki class immediately following that.
Simon was determined on a journey of learning and recovery, to deepen his understanding of human health and optimal functionality. He went on to completing his training as a Bowen Therapist, Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher, and in the fall of 2020, completed his university studies in Exercise and Sports Science.
Simon has since been an active advocate and practitioner of the term “Exercise is Medicine”, creating and customizing programs for clients of all ages using this important principle. Over the years of practice, significant improvements have made Simon a firm believer of seeking holistic healing beyond conventional mind-set. He is passionate about sharing the practices that have helped him on his own journey of recovery.
In 01 January 2015, Simon established One Heart Singapore, to realize the vision of a pure space for anyone who seeks to take control over their own lives, and to begin their journey of healing.
